The Las Momias de Guanajuato - The Mummies of Guanajuato - exhibition was exhibited at the prestigious Galería Arte Moderno in Guadalajara, Mexico, throughout June, 2001. MG's exhibition of oil paintings includes 16 pieces. Twelve are from the Las Momias series in which portraits of The Mummies of Guanajuato are paired with portraits of living people. The remaining four paintings are Mexican landscapes that, in addition to their own meanings, provide a context for the mummies.
